After more than a decade as an important part of Northern Nephrology & Hypertension, Lindsey Downie, RN, is leaving to finish an exciting new chapter in her nursing career. Lindsey joined NNH in 2013, and over the past 13 years she has played a major role in the growth and development of our practice. As NNH has expanded, Lindsey has grown right alongside us, taking on new responsibilities, caring for countless patients, and becoming a trusted and valued member of our team. Throughout her time at NNH, Lindsey has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to our patients. Her dedication, compassion, and willingness to take on whatever was needed have made a lasting impact on both our practice and the people we serve. We have also had the privilege of watching Lindsey continue to advance professionally. From her early years with NNH as an LPN through her development as an experienced registered nurse, she has continually challenged herself to learn and grow. She is now entering the final stage of her Nurse Practitioner training, which she expects to complete in the coming year. Completing an advanced nursing degree while continuing to work and care for patients requires an enormous commitment of time and energy. We are incredibly proud of Lindsey for the hard work and determination that have brought her to this point. As she steps away from NNH to focus on completing her NP training, we certainly understand the commitment required to reach that goal. While we will greatly miss Lindsey’s daily presence, dedication, and exceptional patient care, this is fortunately not goodbye. We look forward to welcoming Lindsey back to Northern Nephrology & Hypertension as a Nurse Practitioner in 2027, beginning the next chapter of a relationship that started more than a decade ago.
